Staffordshire pottery pearlware seated dog, c. 1830. Attractively modelled, as a black spotted dog, seated upon a cushion. The green and blue enamelled cushion, applied with two flower heads, and having iron red tassels, tied at the corners. All beneath a pearlware glaze. Height – 9 cm, 3 1/2”. Width – 7 cm, 2 3/4”. Depth – 5 cm, 2”. Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
