Scottish pottery inkwell, c. 1830. Modelled as a buckled shoe, with apertures for the ink, and a quill to the top. Decorated in typical Scottish, or North England glazes. Length- 14.5 cm, 5 3/4” Height – 4 cm, 1 5/8” Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
