Masons Ironstone pottery pot pourri and cover, 1815. The melon shaped body having twin gilt handles, hand painted in Imari style with flowering plants before fences. Having a similarly decorated, domed pierced cover, surmounted by a gilt pine cone finial. Height – 8.7 cm, 7 1/4”. Diameter (Over handles) – 18 cm, 7 1/8”. Condition – Typical wear to the gilding. No damage. No restoration.
