Worcester porcelain coffee pot and cover, c. 1770. The elegant coffee pot of fluted moulding, well painted with swags of flowers, and single sprays, beneath a wet blue border, decorated with gilt scrolls. The spout and handle, with gilt leaves and flowers. The cover similarly decorated, and having a floral finial. Underglaze blue Crescent mark to the base. Height – 24.5 cm, 9 5/8”. Width (Handle to spout) – 18 cm, 7 1/8”. Condition- Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
