Mintons pottery plaque, Maltese Dog, painted by James Edwin Dean, dated 1925. The square plaque, finely hand painted with a study of a Maltese Dog, in a garden setting. Mounted in a gilt wood frame. Signed – J.E. Dean. Impressed MINTONS, and date code for 1925 to the reverse. Width – 37 cm, 14 1/2”. Height – 37 cm, 14 1/2”. Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
