A fine Derby porcelain trio, c. 1810. Strikingly hand painted with a bold design of oak leaves, and acorns, in iron red, on a gold ground. The cup of Etruscan shape. Crowned D and crossed batons mark in iron red to the undersides, along with the pattern number 748. Height of cups – 6 cm, 2 3/8”. Diameter of saucer – 13.5 cm, 5 1/4”. Condition – A small amount of age related wear to the enamel and gilt. No damage. No restoration.
