A very large Coalport porcelain meat platter, c. 1830. Vibrantly enamelled with large exuberant flowers amongst underglaze cobalt blue leaves and vines. Heightened in gilt. An excellent decorative item, whilst it would also look magnificent on your Christmas or Thanksgiving dining table … it is huge ! Length – 54 cm, 21 1/4”. Width – 41.5 cm,,16 3/8”. Condition – Chip to foot rim, some wear to the gilding – please see images for detail. No restoration.
